Your personal year for 2027
Only the day and month of birth are used; the year of birth does not change the personal year.
How the personal year is worked out
Reduce your day of birth and your month of birth to single digits. Reduce the calendar year to a single digit (2027 → 2 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 11 → 2). Add the three and reduce again. Someone born on 14 July reads 2027 as 5 + 7 + 2 = 14 → 5, a personal year 5. The cycle runs from 1 to 9 and starts again, so the year after a 9 is a 1.
Two conventions exist for when the year turns over; this site uses 1 January, as the calculator does. The nine-year cycle is one of the oldest ideas in Western numerology and the one with the clearest practical use, because it tells you what kind of year to plan for rather than what will happen.
