The single digits
Pythagorean numerology gives each digit from 1 to 9 a character, and reads every larger number by adding its digits until one of these is left. The tradition's keywords are below; each page explains where they come from and what the number means in love, at work and as an angel number.

The master numbers
Three numbers are not reduced: 11, 22 and 33. The tradition reads each as its base number, 2, 4 or 6, with more asked of it. They are rare as life paths and common as sightings, which is why 11:11 has a page of its own.
Questions people ask
Why does numerology only use 1 to 9?
Pythagorean numerology reduces every number to a single digit by adding its digits together, so the whole system rests on nine meanings. Three two-digit numbers, 11, 22 and 33, are kept unreduced because the tradition treats them as stronger versions of 2, 4 and 6.
Is 0 a number in numerology?
Not in the Pythagorean system, where counting starts at 1. Most readers treat 0 as an amplifier of the digit beside it, which is how the site reads it in numbers such as 1010 and 00:00.
What is the difference between a number meaning and a life path?
The number meaning is the digit itself, wherever it turns up. The life path is that digit as the pattern of a whole life, worked out from your full date of birth. The life path 7 page and the number 7 page describe the same number at two different scales.
